Types of Data collected

Among the types of Personal Data that this Application collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: Usage Data (such as app launches, sessions, screens viewed and interactions with in-app purchase screens); device information (such as device model, operating system version and country); identifiers for the app installation (such as the app instance identifier and the identifier for vendors); crash data; purchase events (such as the product, price and currency — never payment details or Apple Account information); location, only when sent to Apple Maps as described below; and the IP address, which any internet request reveals.

Data processed on the User's device

Videos, photos, settings, the stamp drawn on the picture and voice commands are processed on the User's device. Device permissions are requested when a feature first needs them and can be changed at any time in iOS Settings: the camera and microphone to record and to hear voice commands; location to show the place on the stamp and to tag recordings and photos (sent outside the device only to Apple Maps, as described above); the photo library to save to it or to an album the User names, and to import items the User picks; and speech recognition for voice commands, which runs on the device. Declining a permission only turns off the features that need it. If the User saves videos or photos to the Photos library or shares them, those copies are governed by the User's choices and by the destination's own privacy terms.

Mode and place of processing the Data

Methods of processing

The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction of the Data. Google processes Firebase data on the Owner's behalf under its data processing terms (see Firebase privacy information). Apple (App Store and Apple Maps), Amazon and the websites used for time synchronization receive data to provide their own services under their own privacy policies (for example Apple's privacy policy). The Owner relies on these providers to protect the Data at least as well as this policy describes, and shares it with no one else.

Place

The Data is processed where the Owner and these service providers operate, which may include countries other than the User's own, such as the United States. For Firebase, Google provides standard contractual clauses in its data processing terms; Apple describes its use of standard contractual clauses in its privacy policy, and Amazon its participation in the Data Privacy Framework in its privacy notice. Users can ask the Owner for details.

Legal basis of processing

Retention time

Personal Data is kept only as long as it is needed for its purpose. Crashlytics deletes crash data after about 90 days. Usage statistics are kept no longer than needed to understand how this Application is used: eligible Analytics data is deleted under the retention controls of the Owner's Firebase project, and reports that only show totals and identify no installation may be kept longer. Data on the User's device stays there until the User deletes it.

The purposes of processing

The Data is collected to provide this Application, fix errors and improve it, handle purchases, show maps and addresses, comply with legal obligations and protect the rights of the Owner and Users.

User choices

Users can turn usage statistics off in the App's settings; crash reports are still sent so that crashes can be fixed. Users can revoke device permissions in iOS Settings. Deleting the App removes the data kept in its own storage; copies saved to the Photos library stay there until the User deletes them in Photos.

The rights of Users

Depending on where they live, Users have the right to withdraw consent, object to processing, access their Data, have it corrected, restrict its processing, have it deleted, receive it in a portable format, and lodge a complaint with their data protection authority.

How to exercise these rights

Requests can be sent to monocraft.creator@gmail.com. They are free of charge and will be answered as early as possible and within the period required by law.

Children

This Application is not directed to children under 13, and the Owner does not knowingly collect Personal Data from them.

Information for US consumers

Residents of California, Virginia and other US states with privacy laws may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to access, correct or delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. In the last 12 months, this Application collected, directly from its Users' devices: identifiers, commercial information (purchase events), internet or other electronic activity (Usage Data) and approximate location derived from the IP address, for the purposes and recipients described above. Precise location is sent to Apple Maps only to show a map or an address the User asks for, or to look up a place the User has chosen, and is not used to infer anything about the User. The Owner does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Requests can be made, including through an authorized agent, using the contact details above; the Owner may ask for information needed to verify the request.

Changes to this privacy policy

The Owner may change this privacy policy at any time by updating this page and, where appropriate, informing Users in this Application. The date of the latest update is shown below.
